FastMarkup Free, v1.0.0

One tab. One frozen view. A clearer point.

Capture only the visible viewport and mark it without opening an editor tab. Your live page returns when you copy or press Escape.

The workflow

Chrome takes a snapshot before the overlay appears. You draw over that still image, then export the captured image with your marks.

1

Start in the current tab

Use the popup button or assign Alt+Shift+A to the capture command in Chrome shortcut settings.

2

Mark what matters

Use the floating toolbar over the frozen viewport. The page underneath cannot receive pointer input until you close it.

3

Copy or download

Ctrl+C or Cmd+C copies a PNG. Download saves one to disk. The toolbar does not appear in the image.

Tools in the free build

Choose a color and stroke width, then draw directly on the snapshot.

Pen and highlighter

Draw a freehand line or use a translucent highlight to point at a region.

Arrow and shapes

Drag arrows, outlined rectangles, and ellipses over the captured page.

Text and callouts

Place inline text or numbered markers for several points in one screenshot.

Revise before sharing

Use eraser, undo, redo, and clear all. Pick from six colors and three stroke widths.

The result stays local.

FastMarkup Free has no account, upload, analytics, or screenshot history. Copy or download when you choose. Closing the overlay discards the capture.
